FEMINIST DANCE PRACTICE AND PERFORMANCE
Intersectional feminist storytelling through dance workshops and immersive performances where musical theatre meets activism
PUT THE MOST UNEXPECTED HAT ON AND MOVE THROUGH THIS NEW PERSONA
Coming from strategic communications, political science and performing arts, I create in a colourful interdisciplinary environment. My intersectional Feminist Dance Workshops are about the joy of meaningful movement and theatrical character exploration. The space is already designed, offering the comfort of a guided meditation. It’s a judgement-free zone, with the freedom to make these new moves your own. All are welcome, no matter your gender, whether you’re a dancer or not. It’s about time that we all learn to razzle dazzle - as a collective.
….I’ve entered the roaring (20)20’ with a personal feminist agenda: we are all physical beings, and it is also a political act to choose through which narratives I let my own body move. Some 200 classes later with the Berkeley Ballet Theatre, California, Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Centre, New York City, I’ve developed a toolbox to help you dance through your own story.
